Nd-Fe-B High-Performance Anisotropic Ring Magnets

Proterial's unique manufacturing mold design and magnetic field analysis technology is used to create high-performance, high-function magnets, including radial anisotropic magnets and multi-pole anisotropic magnets. Simply insert onto the rotor and glue. We also offer replacements for multi-pole bonding and step skew (offset arrangement) bonding applied segmented magnets.
Widely applied to motors for industrial equipment, automotive electrical motors, and various actuators.

We propose a method to use materials tailored to your company.

Products

  • Radial Anisotropic Magnet

    A magnet in which the easy direction of magnetization is radially distributed from the center of the ring cross section.

  • Multi-pole Anisotropic Magnet

    A magnet in which the easy direction of magnetization is controlled in a special distribution so that a magnetic path is formed inside the magnet corresponding to the number of poles in the product.

Features

<Common>

  1. 1The cylindrical shape easily ensures dimensional accuracy of the outer diameter facing the stator.
  2. 2Variations in magnetic flux density distribution between poles are easily reduced because the rotor can be composed of a single magnet.
  3. 3Easy magnet fixation contributes to reduction of assembly man-hours and integrated molding by resin molding.
  4. 4The rotor can be composed of a single magnet, which provides high reliability at high speeds, etc.

<Radial anisotropic magnet>

  1. 1The number of poles can be set arbitrarily and skew magnetization is possible.

<Multi-pole anisotropic magnet>

  1. 1A surface flux density close to a sinusoidal wave can be obtained without special magnetization such as skew.
  2. 2The peak value of the magnetic flux density distribution is higher than that of radial anisotropic magnets.
  3. 3Since the amount of magnetic flux leakage from the bore side is sufficiently small, non-magnetic materials such as resin can be used for rotor components other than magnets.
