Since its original founding in 1910, the Company has grown by providing many unique high-performance materials developed with its high technological prowess, principally to markets related to mobility, industrial infrastructure, and electronics.

"Proterial" is intended to reflect the essence of our corporate philosophy. The name has been coined by combining "pro" and "material." "Pro" represents our "three pros," as stated below:
