What is Metallic Interconnector Material?
ZMG™232G10 is a ferritic stainless steel which was developed for SOFC*1/SOEC*2 interconnects (separators).
ZMG™232G10 is composed of Fe-24%Cr and a small amount of trace elements to obtain the following characteristics.
- 1Coefficient of thermal expansion close to electrolyte (YSZ)
- 2Good electrical conductivity at operating temperature
- 3Good oxidation resistance at operating temperature over a long period of time
- *1SOFC : Solid Oxide Fuel Cell
- *2SOEC : Solid Oxide Electrolysis Cell
